Limerance: a musical duo who are best pals, long-standing musical partners and have an excellent reputation for live performance. Limerance met on Liverpool’s busy music scene in 2016 and over the past 6 years have played around the North West, London and Scotland.
The duo have been praised for their unmistakable chemistry, light-hearted chatter and lovely engagement with audiences. Singing original, Americana music with folk and country influences, Limerance are regularly commended for unique harmonies, beautiful lyrics and the stunning blend of their voices.
Highlights of 2022 included playing The Den Stage at Cambridge Folk Festival, where they received outstanding commendations from audience members. This was followed by a co-headline show, ‘Homegrown’, at The Atkinson Theatre with ‘Grateful Fred’s’, a regular folk, roots and acoustic evening, which was described as ‘one of the best Grateful Fred’s ever!’.
With an excellent reputation for live performance, Limerance bring an excitement and eagerness to their show leaving the audience wanting to hear more, while simultaneously creating a serene listening experience for the audience.
2023 will bring a flurry of recording and releasing new music, with some extra instrumentation and arrangement, working and collaborating with local folk and acoustic artists. Confirmed gigs so far include a co-headline Liverpool gig with Danny Bradley, and a headline gig at Studio Widnes.
With festival applications sent, dates ready to announce, and new songs being penned all the time, we’d advise keeping an ear out for Limerance harmonising somewhere near you very soon!
